1. About Pops
What exactly is Pops?
Pops is an infinite arcade where you can play and create mini-games. Think of it as an endless feed of playable experiences - every swipe reveals something new to play. You can also build your own Pops using simple text prompts, no coding required.
What kind of things can I make?
Mini-games, interactive toys, puzzles, music makers, drawing tools, generative art - anything playable. Every Pop is a piece of software you can actually interact with, not just watch.
What makes Pops different?
On other platforms, you scroll through videos or images. On Pops, you scroll through playable software. Every Pop is interactive - tap it, swipe it, play it. The feed keeps growing with fresh creations from the community every day.
2. Getting Started
Where can I get Pops?
Download free from the App Store or Google Play. You can also play Pops directly in your browser without installing anything.
Does it cost anything?
Nope. Pops is completely free - play, create, and share without limits or hidden costs.
Who can use Pops?
Anyone 13 or older. Works on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and modern web browsers.
3. Creating Pops
How do I make a Pop?
Tap the + button and describe what you want in plain language. “Make a game where I tap falling stars” or “Create a piano I can play by touching the screen.” The more specific you are, the better the result.
Can I change it after it's made?
Yes. Keep describing changes and the AI will update your Pop. Want different colors? Faster gameplay? Just ask.
Can I add my own images?
Yes. Upload photos from your camera roll or use AI-generated images to customize your Pops.
What's remixing?
See a Pop you like? Remix it to make your own version. The original creator gets credit, and you get a starting point to build on.
4. Playing & Discovering
How do I browse Pops?
Swipe through the feed. Each Pop is playable right there - no need to open anything. The feed shows trending Pops, posts from people you follow, and recommendations based on what you like.
How do I save Pops I like?
Tap the heart to like or the bookmark to save. Both are private - only you can see what you've saved.
How do I share a Pop?
Every Pop has a shareable link that works for anyone - even people who don't have the app. Share to messages, social media, or anywhere you can paste a link.
5. Community
How do I follow creators?
Tap Follow on any profile. Their new Pops will show up more often in your feed.
Can I comment on Pops?
Yes. Comments appear below each Pop. Creators can delete or report comments on their posts.
6. Safety & Privacy
How do I report something inappropriate?
Tap the three dots menu on any Pop or comment and select Report. Our moderation team reviews all reports.
What's not allowed?
Violence, harassment, hate speech, inappropriate sexual content, and dangerous activities. See our Community Guidelines for details.
Is Pops safe for teens?
Pops is designed for users 13+. We use automated tools and human moderators to review content. Parents are encouraged to explore the app together with their teens.
What data do you collect?
Only what's needed to run Pops: account info, the Pops you create, and how you use the app. We never sell your data. Users under 18 have additional privacy protections. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Troubleshooting
Why is my Pop taking a while to generate?
Generation usually takes 30-60 seconds depending on complexity. If it's taking longer, check your internet connection.
My Pop doesn't work right
Try being more specific about what you want. If you've made many edits and things still aren't working, it's often easier to start fresh.
The app is slow or crashing
Make sure you're on the latest version. Try force-quitting and reopening. If problems continue, reinstall the app.
Image uploads aren't working
Check the file size and format - JPG and PNG work best. Some images may be rejected if they violate content guidelines.
